Marilyn Monroe Tutorial

Next video is now up too! :) I'm really excited about this one, I loved the look and was looking forward to doing the tutorial for it.

This one was inspired the wonderful Norma Jeane. Her look is very iconic, so I found it relatively easy to replicate and people were able to guess who I was, which was fun :) I did research how she did her makeup too, which is where I got the white liner trick from, but I still tried to make it my own.

Products used:

Urban Decay Primer Potion
BYS Palette (light and white creams)
120 Palette from eBay (medium brown)
Artdeco White Eyeliner
Maybelline Eyestudio in Blackest Black
Avon superSHOCK Mascara
False Lashes from Priceline (cut in half)
Natio Mineral Powder Bronzer and Enhancer in Warm Day
MAC Cream Colour Base in Luna
Avon Ultra Luxury Lip Liner in True Red
Estee Lauder Pure Colour Lipstick in Classic Red

I hope you enjoy this one :)

Katy Perry Tutorial

Yay my first video is finally up! It took three tries to film it, and so many tries to edit it, but it is on YouTube for you all to see now! :D

This was my day one look for the 21 Challenge, which I did in June to raise money for children living on the streets. My challenge was to create a different makeup look everyday for 21 days, and I took inspiration from famous figures from history, as well as modern times, and also from everyday random things, like flowers and such. So there is a lot to look forward to with the rest of them coming too! :)

Products used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
Artdeco Mineral Eyeshadow in Snowflake
Sportsgirl Palette (light brown eyeshadow)
Maybelline Eyestudio in Blackest Black
Avon superSHOCK Mascara
MAC number 4 Lashes
Vani-T Creme Multi Stick in Coral Candy
MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch O' Peach
Artdeco Lifting Lip Base
Artdeco Lipstick (bright pink)

Let me know what you think of the video, it's my first so I know I can improve :)

I seem to get stuck with awesome thumbnails. Yet I don't know how to change it :(

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy.

Stay beautiful.

PS. I have just figured out how to change the thumbnails :D This one is not what I'd call flattering, but at least it's funny :P

My Naked Palette finally arrived! :D

I'm so excited everyone! I ordered a Naked Palette from http://www.beautybay.com/ 3 weeks ago. Estimated delivery was 5-7 business days, so that was a bit misleading. But I'm just so happy that it's finally here now :)

So here it is in its packaging straight out of the box.

And now out of the packaging.

I love the packaging of the actual palette! The velvet of the box feels amazing and the gold lettering is a really nice touch.

And now open!

Colours L to R: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal.
Swatches, colours same as above. Without flash.

And with flash.

Just from first look at the swatches I am loving sin, half baked, toasted and hustle. But I can't wait to try a nice natural everyday look with virgin, naked and buck. I'm going to need to get up early so I can have a play before work tomorrow :)

I will definitely be doing some tutorials from this palette, testing out the range of looks from natural to dramatic, so stay tuned.

I will keep you all posted and probably do a review once I've had some time to use it. I'm so excited!

Stay beautiful.
